Supporting kids learning from home
Feeling the aches and pains of working from home? Kids can feel it too.
In lots of ways, children and teens are like mini adults, they can experience similar physical complaints including headaches, sore neck, sore back, and similar injuries and accidents, as well as their own unique issues like growing pains or foreign objects up noses!
There have been a lot of changes in our recent environment that have had a big impact on all of us - they've impacted the way we are able to be outdoors, to play sports, and even playing in the playground! Spending a lot more time at home and indoors is bringing up new physical challenges for many families. If your child is feeling the discomfort of schooling from home, as well as the potential extra screen time and less community sport, we are here to help support you. Your families' health and wellbeing is our priority.
Osteopaths work with all ages, from newborns to the elderly; treatment and management approaches vary to suit each individual body and its day to day needs, with gentle hands on treatment, exercises, and lifestyle advice.
If you would like to book yourself or your child in for an appointment, I am available on Mondays and Thursdays and I look forward to supporting you and your family.
